A remote thermostat housing is a technically simple yet highly effective solution to stabilize engine performance in cold weather and improve warm-up efficiency. Thanks to its placement away from the cylinder head, the thermostat is not influenced by engine heat and only opens when the coolant reaches the required temperature.
However, the remote design isn’t the only advantage of thermostat housing. Its dual-flange construction makes it easy to remove and maintain, while the stainless-steel material ensures an unlimited lifespan. Drivers only need to replace the thermostat on time and check the seals of the connected hoses. The housing itself is guaranteed to last for decades—like all stainless-steel products.
The universal R305FN10 housing is compatible with both thermostats with a bypass valve and those without one. Thermostats with bypass valves can also be purchased in our store. Additionally, the R305FN10 housing comes in a variation without extra fittings (R305F).
